His emergence as the 2023 Candidate of Imo PDP has been described by many as divine because this is the first time a Candidate is emerging unopposed in the Partys Governorship ticket. In the past, Aspirants waste huge amount of money buying Party Delegates to vote for them and thereafter end up not winning the General Elections but Sen Samuel Anyanwu entrace into the Guber contest has changed this scenario. No wonder, many supporters of the party who joined other political party due to one reasons or the other have started returning back to the Party and the incumbent Apc govt in Imo have started shivering, preparing their handover note for the incoming PDP Govt.
